20 Boko Haram Terrorists Surrender to Authorities in Niger

Twenty more Boko Haram members have surrendered to Nigerien authorities, a week after 31 turned themselves in.

Niger’s interior minister, Bazoum Mohamed, in an interview broadcast on Wednesday said "about 50 Boko Haram fighters have now given themselves up” since December 27,

The combatants surrendered at Diffa, in southeastern Niger. Diffa is a Boko Haram stronghold close to the border with Nigeria, where 31 fighters turned themselves in at the end of last month.
