Key Boko Haram Leader Arrested In Chad

Boko Haram leader, Baana Fanay has been arrested on Sunday in N’djamena according to Chadian Public Prosecutor, Alghassim Khamis. He is said to have been arrested after a fierce resistance in company of two other terrorist.

Banna Fanay was in charge of purchase and trafficking of weapons. He also recruited fighters in Nigeria, Cameroon and Chad.

A search in the suspect’s house led to the seizure of different weapons and documents written in Arabic by Boko Haram leader, Aboubakar Shekau. A man said to be a financier of the group was also arrested.
