Are you brave enough to drive on this “roller coaster bridge”?


This is the Eshima Ohashi bridge in Japan – the third largest of its kind in the world which rises (unlike London’s Tower Bridge that splits up) so ships can pass underneath.

The concrete road bridge is a mile long across Lake Nakaumi and it links the cities of Matsue and Sakaiminato. But guess what, it doesn’t even make the top five scariest bridges in the world.
