LADIES; 6 boyfriend mistakes you should forgive

He’s late on the first date.

Yes, it’s infuriating — but you should learn the reason behind his tardiness before you kick him to the curb. Sometimes the traffic really is bad. His cell phone did die, or he was caught up at work. It happens, especially in a city as chaotic as New York. If he’s always late, however, ditch him.

You don’t feel a spark.

If you’re anything like me, you want to feel butterflies on a first date. Sometimes that spark isn’t instant. Give him another shot. It may be nerves. Or you may not be open. If you feel nothing by the third date, then set him free.

He fumbles your name.

Some of us (ahem, me!) have exotic names. It’s difficult for a man to pronounce “Sujeiry” correctly. Even Latino men mess it up and its pronunciation is phonetic in Spanish. Just make sure he gets it right the second time he takes you out.

His cellphone etiquette sucks.

You’re on a date and the guy is constantly on his phone. I know, I know, he should not get a second chance. But, well…maybe he should. He might just be so used to being plugged in that he doesn’t realize he’s too connected. So tell him. If he doesn’t listen and keeps texting and taking calls? Delete his number.

Your timing is off when you first meet.

Sometimes relationships don’t work the first time around. If you meet a man and he is suddenly noncommittal, it may be a case of bad timing. If he resurfaces and is really ready to date and commit, give it another go.

He’s a shy guy.

Shy men tend to get left behind. They don’t express their feelings as easily, or at all, so it’s easy to dismiss them after a date or two. Give him time to open up. If he is a thoughtful and wonderful man who is into you, he might just need an extra push. Who knows? He may just be the one you were meant to be with.

BREAKING NEWS: Stephen Keshi, and Joseph Yobo quit Super Eagles.

Speaking after the Eagles were eliminated by France in the round of 16 match in Brasilia, Monday, the Delta State-born tactician said it was time to move on after leading his country’s national team to the Africa Nations Cup trophy last year and the ongoing World Cup in Brazil.

“I have to go back to my family and face fresh challenges,” Keshi said.

Similarly, Super Eagles Captain, Yobo Joseph said he has had enough and can go no further as national team player. “I think I should give the younger ones the opportunity to forge ahead. I have nothing new to offer.”

SHOCKING: Abducted Israeli teens found dead

The three Israeli teenagers who were abducted earlier this month in the West Bank have been found dead. An Israeli military spokesman said their bodies were found in a pit near the town of Halhul, north of Hebron. Naftali Frenkel and Gilad Shaar, both aged 16, and 19-year-old Eyal Yifrach were last seen at a junction near Hebron as they hitchhiked home. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Hamas was responsible, a claim the Palestinian militant group has denied. At the start of a meeting of the Israeli security cabinet, Mr Netanyahu said the three were “kidnapped and murdered in cold blood by animals” and promised: “Hamas will pay”. But Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told the AFP news agency that any action to punish the movement would “open the gates of hell”. Israel’s Shin Bet security service earlier said the main suspects in the case were two men named Marwan Qawasmeh and Amer Abu Aisheh and that they were “Hamas operatives”. Forensic teams were in the area and searches were continuing in an effort to capture “all those involved in this attack”, it added. Israeli security forces have set up blockades and closed down whole areas around Halhul, which is just a few kilometres from where the teenagers were last seen. Israeli Economy Minister Naftali Bennett wrote on Facebook: “Murderers of children and those who direct them cannot be forgiven. Now is a time for actions, not words.” Israeli President Shimon Peres said the “whole nation is in deep grief”. “Amid our deep sorrow, we remain determined to fiercely punish the criminal terrorists,” he added. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has called an emergency meeting of the Palestinian leadership to discuss the teenagers’ deaths. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said: “We obviously condemn in the strongest possible terms violence that takes the lives of innocent civilians,” AP reports. Naftali Frenkel held dual Israeli-American citizenship. The abduction of the three Jewish seminary students on 12 June sparked a huge search operation in Palestinian towns and cities across the West Bank. More than 400 Palestinians have been arrested, while five have been killed in fighting with Israeli troops. Earlier, there were reports of clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians in the Halhul area. The case has put serious strain on relations between Israel and the Palestinians. Mr Netanyahu has said the incident is a consequence of “the partnership” between Hamas and the Fatah movement of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. The two signed a reconciliation deal in April after years of division and formed a unity government earlier this month.

GOOD NEWS: Key Player In Chibok School Girls Abduction Arrested (PICTURED)

A terrorists’ intelligence cell headed by a businessman who participated actively in the abduction of schoolgirls in Chibok, Borno State has been busted by troops. The man, Babuji Ya’ari who is also a member of the youth vigilante group popularly known as Civilian JTF which he uses as cover while remaining an active terrorist, also spearheaded the murder of the Emir of Gwoza. His main role in the group is to spy and gather information for the terrorists group.

Babuji has been co-ordinating several deadly attacks in Maiduguri since 2011, including the daring attacks on Customs and military locations as well as the planting of IEDs in several locations in the town.

The arrest of the businessman who is known to deal in tricycles has also yielded some vital information and facilitated the arrest of other members of the terrorists’ intelligence cell who are women. One of them, Hafsat Bako had earlier fled to Gombe State to avoid suspicion but was tracked and arrested. Prior to her arrest, Hafsat coordinated the payment of other operatives on the payroll of the group. In her confession, she disclosed that a minimum of N10,000 is paid to each operative depending on the enormity of his task.

Another female suspect named Haj Kaka who doubles as an armourer and a spy for the terrorists group has also been arrested. Until their arrest, all the suspects actively operated a terrorists’ intelligence cell in collaboration with others still at large.

In another development, troops deployed in Goniri, Yobe State, over the weekend, had an encounter with terrorists, resulting in casualties on both sides after the attack was successfully repelled.

‘There’s dignity in the use of sex toys’ – Bisi Ibidapo-Obe explains

The opening of a sex toy shop in the Magodo area of Lagos by Nigerian actress, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe has been marked with a lot of controversy.

This led to the actress saying that she did not open an adult shop as she only stocked underwear and vibrators.

However, Ms. Ibidapo-Obe is again on the defensive as she has said in an interview with The Sun that there is nothing wrong with owning a sex toy business and that Nigerians are just hypocritical.

Excerpts below:

Why did you diversify into boutique business?

Since I don’t go to location all the time I need other businesses that will bring some cash for me to make ends meet. For your information, this is not the only business I do; I am also into supply among other things.

The reason for going into boutique business was because I discovered that those living around Magodo travel far and wide to buy pants, bras and other things and this culminated in my decision to locate this kind of a store here.

Why did you include sex toys?

I did not open a sex toyshop. I sell men and women under wears and a few other things. I also have a section for body massage, body polish and other things that are related to that. On the issue of sex toys, I have this to say, if I sell sex toys so what? Nigerians are a bunch of hypocrites.

They make issues out of non-issues. When I travelled to London I saw some newly wedded couples buying sex toys but back here, Nigerians believe that those that buy sex toys are harlots. In fact, there is dignity in the use of sex toys.

Do people patronize you?

I am not into the sales of only sex toys but there is a big market for them.

Is selling sex toys based on your personal experience or your friend’s?

No.

Is it true that Nigerian men are not romantic and that is why women buy sex toys?

I don’t know anything about that. But I do know that most of those who buy sex toys are couples. I have seen quite a number of couples walk in to buy these sex toys here.

LADIES; 6 boyfriend mistakes you should forgive

Guys mess up. They can break our hearts, disappoint us, and even lie. I should know. Men have been screwing with me (and not in the good way) for years. My first boyfriend went on a weeklong vacation to Cuba and “forgot” to call me when he returned. Another boyfriend cheated on me with his ex. My last boyfriend gifted me with a nail tool kit for my birthday (how romantic). But not every offense is a deal breaker. Here, six slip-ups you should let go:

He’s late on the first date.

Yes, it’s infuriating — but you should learn the reason behind his tardiness before you kick him to the curb. Sometimes the traffic really is bad. His cell phone did die, or he was caught up at work. It happens, especially in a city as chaotic as New York. If he’s always late, however, ditch him.

GUESS WHO? Another Sexy Nollywood Actress Reveals She is a Virgin (PICTURED)

Seyi Hunter, an Industrial and Labour Relations’graduate from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
In this interview, the wave-making actress talks about her career, passion, secrets and fears, among other issues, read below:

When and how did you start acting professionally?

I started acting in 2011. I entered the industry through Funsho Adeolu. I met him at a movie location.

What has been your experience since you started?

It’s been tough. But with God on my side, I’ve been able to achieve a lot within the short period I’ve been in the industry.

Which movies have you done?

Broken Fixtures, Pain, Many Days-One day, My Club, MM Girls, Insanity, etc. TheYoruba movies include Rukayat, Alenibare, etc.

Since you do both the Yoruba and English genre of Nollywood movies, which would you say is better and has been most favourable to you?

The English movies have been really favourable to me. The threelead roles I’ve played are in English movies. I usually play minor roles in the Yoruba movies. If I were to assess both sectors, I’d say they are both good and that’s why I’m doing both.

What challenges do you encounter as an upcoming actress in the industry?

The truth is they don’t really pay us well as upcoming actresses. Another challenge is getting roles. Though for me, God has been faithful. When I go to any location or for a production, I get another job from that one. It’s as if one job gives birth to another. So far, people I’ve met are people who want to help me, who are willing to stick their necks out for me. People like Collins Onwochei, Chico Ejiro, Damijo Efe Young, Funsho Adeolu and others.

What would you say is your selling point?

(Laughs) Look at me now. It’s not as if I’m so endowed physically. I’m just one humble girl next door. Favour is my selling point.

If you could change anything in the industry, what would that be?

It’s the practice of not paying or appreciating new actresses. They feel that because you’re upcoming, they are doing you a favour by featuring you in the movie. That’s one trend I’d like to change. I have told myself that whatever production I do, everyone must be paid as long as you worked on that set, you should be paid for it. Besides that, I think Nollywood has improved a lot.

What would you have been, if you weren’t an actress?

I think probably a dancer. I used to dance and then I stopped and started acting. So, I would have been dancing or modelling if I wasn’t acting. I love to entertain, so I would still be in the entertainment industry. The truth is I’ve always wanted to act, though I started as a dancer.

What’s your view on p****graphy in the industry?

So far I’ve not done any P0*nographic movie and I’ve not gotten any P0*nogr*phic script.

What if you were asked to, would you?

Let that time come first. When I get to that bridge, I would cross it.

Can you go unclad in a movie?

I can’t go stark unclad in any movie. I can’t even strip unclad in front of any body.

Would you have s*x in a movie?

We don’t have real s*x in movies, it’s make-believe, we don’t do the real thing. I can k*ss,smooch and touch. It’s my job, there’s nothing to it and it ends there, it doesn’t go beyond the camera.

Would you date a guy in the industry?

I can if I meet the right person.

How important is money to you when it comes to your choice of man?

I’m not lookingfor a stinkingly rich man. If he has allthe money without good attributes, then he’s not for me. I like humblepeople. So, he has to be humble, God-fearing, extremely nice, very rom*ntic and loving.

Define your fashion style?

I’m just an ordinary person when it comes to fashion. I wear things I’m comfortable in, I don’tfollow trends. As long as it suits me and I’m comfortable in it, I go with it.

Can you talk about the Children’s Day Party you recently organised?

It was actually thebrainchild of my company, Hunter’s Media. It’s a partnership firm I run. I had always wanted to do things for children because my growing up wasn’t rosy.

I lost my dad at a very tender age, my mum was a housewife and I had a lot of sibling. My adopted baby sister died when she was just eleven months old. It really affected me a lot because I practically took care of her and she died in my arms after being admitted in the hospital for three months.

That incident shook me a lot and I was just 15 at the time. That was part of the motivation for the Children’s Day Party. And I love children a lot. This event is going to give birth to an NGO and we will be organising it yearly for special kids. That was the initial plan, but I’ve started making enquiries on how to interact with special kids so that I can relate with them without a third party.

Are you planning to go into movie production like some of your colleagues are doing?

Yes, my media company is into film production, documentary, rental of equipment, modelling and photography. I’m presently taking a photography course.

How do you unwind?

I’m basically an indoorperson. I hardly go out, but once in a while, my friends and colleagues drag me out. I just like to read novels and watch movies.

What was your childhood like?

My childhood was fun. I grew up in a polygamoushome. I had a lot of brothers and sisters, so it was a full house. I grew up in Surulere.

Educational Background?

My primary and secondary education were in Surulere. Then, I had my university education at the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State where I studied Performing Arts.

Where do you hope to be in the nearest future?

I hope that my media company alongside my NGO will grow bigger. I can’t even picture how big it is, because it is bigger than my imagination. I hope to see myself at the top soonest, by God’s grace.

Who in the industry do you hope to be like?

My name is Seyi Hunter. There’s only one me, so I want to be me. I admire my colleagues, they are good and beautiful. They are super role models and I love them.

Which top actors have you worked with?

I’ve worked with Tonto Dike, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Aimakun, Funsho Adeolu, Collins Onwochei and others.

What was your first time on set like?

The movie was a Yoruba movie, Aromodomo. It was shot in Ibadan. I was a bit nervous at first and Funsho Adeolu was the one who encouraged me. He told me to imagine I was in a theatre hall about to have a stage play with my colleagues. That was how I was able to flow.

What’s the most challenging role you’ve played so far?

Broken Fixtures, where I had to kiss and romance. The role I played in My Club was also challenging because I had to drink and smoke, which I don’t do in real life.

Is there a role you would turn down?

As long as I’m not required to have actual s*x, I can’t turn down any role.

Who’s your ideal man?

My ideal man is someone who is God-fearing, understands me and my job, someone who is loving and extremely caring. He also has to be nice to a fault.

Are you in a relationship?

Yes. I was attracted to him because of the fact that he’s born again, spoils me with gifts and puts my needs before his own.

S*x and money, which is more important to you in a relationship?

I know nothing about s*x, I’m a v*rgin. Money is more important to me in a relationship.

SEE The Face Of The Female Boko Haram Suicide Bomber Who Carried Out Apapa Car Bombing In Lagos

The bomb explosion that rocked Apapa, Lagos earlier in the week was carried out by a suspected Boko Haram female suicide bomber.

Area residents and journalists who were at the scene of the blast say they won’t let the government deceive them because it was clear that what happened was a bomb blast and not a gas explosion or a fuel tanker bursting into flames.

A lady identified as Adaobi, who worked at the company where the blast occurred said she is still can’t come to terms with the fact that insurgency is now at her doorsteps.

“I cannot believe what I have seen today. I have been thinking that all these bombings and killings occurring in the northern part of the country, which I read about in the papers, will never get to the south.

“I have never thought that Boko Haram, whose aim, I think, is to create an Islamic Caliphate in the entire northern Nigeria, would ever come to the south. But what I have seen today is shocking.

“When I looked at my office building, I discovered that the glasses on the entire building were destroyed by the blast and I wondered where we are heading to”
, she said.

Even though Vanguard didn’t directly say it wasn’t a gas explosion or a fuel tanker bursting into flames, they made it clear that it was a car bomb blast.

Another journalist who goes by the name Fejiro Oliver says it was a clear case of a suicide bomber and a female carried out the task. His tweets and Facebook report below;

The above muslim lady reportedly sent by Boko Haram was on the phone few minutes before blowing herself up…Lord have mercy! What kind of evil is this?

MO Abudu Clocks 50

In a few months, celebrated talkshow hostess and founder of Ebony Life TV, Mosunmola Abudu, would clock 50. It is a milestone. And for this beautiful success story, there would be no inhibitions about the celebrations that would follow.

We gathered that friends of Mo’, as she is widely known, are about setting up a committee for the grand event. In less than a decade of her foray into the media, Mo has really done well for herself, rising from a tentative, scarcely trained talk-show hostess to a prima donna TV gal interviewing national and global leaders on her widely syndicated Moments With Mo. Also a successful businesswoman with different thriving companies under her belt, Mo’s magnum opus remains her daring foray into satellite television ownership with Ebony Life TV, which went live in 2013 on Digital Satellite Television, DSTV.

With a mission to create ‘Original, Premium and Inspiring content with an African Soul that showcases the best of Africa for a Global Black audience, Africa’s first Global Black Multi-Broadcast Entertainment Network’, Ebony Life TV is a multi-platform broadcaster set to reach Africa’s most important target demographic, the custodians of the present and the future, producing and broadcasting over non-stop, original programming with world-class production values through a variety of engaging platforms that include TV, Mobile, Online, Apps and Live.

Mo’s smile-wide grin and sharp intellect has seen her conquer the otherwise difficult Nigerian media terrain in less than a decade of her entry. In many ways, Mo Abudu epitomizes the nature of positive revolt: always at odds with the present, forever evolving. With her quiet will and calm stare, the woman to whom success subsists in doing things the way they have never been done before. She is always ready to revolutionize the Nigerian media. It’s often said, broadcasters are meant to pass as national resources or cultural touchstones; Mo Abudu is a medley of both. And then, she is a lot more.

Denrele Edun Finally Opens Up On Why He Is Yet To Get Married

The 31-year-old Channel O presenter again reacted to rumours of his alleged homosexual affair with Charles Oputa (Charly Boy). He also spoke about his career and admitted that he doesn’t know how to drive.

See excerpts from the interview with the Tribune below:

How old are you?
I am 31. I was born on the 13th of June. (Flip) the numbers 13; that’s my age. I’m sure I don’t look it. It’s good. I can get away with anything.

I’m sure the right people have started asking the right question. When are you planning on settling down?
Everybody, in fact, is asking me that question o. And I remember back then I would say when I am 30 I would marry. But now, I have passed 30. Linda Ikeji and I were talking marriage last week. She said I still have to get my life together. You know, my life is scattered. I am here and there. I don’t think I can find a woman that can cope [with that].

Does it mean you are not in a relationship?
I am not dating anybody for now. I am single and searching.

I’m sure some people are reading this right now.
Eh! My people, make una come put ring o! My mother has been mounting pressure. My father has been telling me. My uncle, my grandmother, everyone wan make I marry.

Why haven’t you found the right person yet?
I think when that time comes, I will marry. I have been into many relationships. I have dated girls who would want to do anything I tell them. I want a woman who can hold her own. I don’t want a woman who cannot make dialogue with me. I don’t want a woman who will want to change me because she should already know who Denrele is. I don’t want to hear, “my father said you cannot dress like that” I will be like, “Oya, come and carry your witch and go. And return me my bride price before you go”. I want a woman who is not pretentious, hypocritical or a fame seeker. I want someone who is original. I want somebody I can go to the salon together (with) to make our hair; who wouldn’t mind if people are talking. I love a woman that can wear heels. It may sound flimsy. I love girls on heels. This is why I have always had a thing for models. If my wife cannot wear heels…

Here you are talking about marriage, while people have described you as gay. What do you have to say?
I’m aware of it. In fact, a lot of people have come with different terminologies for my sexual preference. They have labelled me homosexual, heterosexual. Some have said I am bi-sexual, asexual. I think I am a sexual outlaw; that is the best way to describe it. Am I gay? I am a sexual outlaw. Gbam!

What does that mean?
I don’t know. I don’t even know what my sexual preference is. The media have blown my sexuality out of proportion. Maybe it is because I am feminine in nature, or because I look like my mother or because of the way I dress. My clothes are the reflection of my personality, but people use it to judge my sexual preference. And if people want to continually judge me because of my dressing, they should go ahead.

Does it mean you are not gay?
People can say what they like. You know, this can be a mystery. If people keep pondering on it, it will remain a mystery. If I give the answer now, una no go dey wonder about anything. Make una dey ponder dey go.

Are you using this to keep the attention on yourself?
Not quite; it’s just for the fun of it, really. I am not one of those people who would want to deliberate on people’s sexual preference. I really cannot be bothered about things like that. But it is so funny how people have made a big deal out of it. It’s not about attention. Otherwise, I would have been suing this or that newspaper for saying this or that thing about me. I really can’t be bothered.

People love you, some hate you and others don’t even understand you. How do you feel about these things?
I am the one sitting in front of you. I am alive and well. Over time, they should have realised that I no send. It’s not that I am not grateful. I am grateful to critics. I am grateful to people who love my originality. I am grateful to people who hate my guts. I don’t like to use the word, but haters are like confused admirers. They cannot understand why everybody likes you. And they cannot bring themselves to like you. They either will not like you because they do not understand why you are doing something they should have done, or why you are getting away with doing it. It’s funny. I think the people who do not understand the essence of Denrele are the ones who do cyber bullying. If you have noticed, when someone insults me, I retweet it because it’s a sort of compliment. I am not a hypocrite that will be retweeting only good things about me. I want people to know that I too get insulted and abused and that I take it in good stride. For me, I have also realised that my target audience is not only the teenage group, but also older people, like grandmas and grandpas. My brand cuts across to everyone.

Is Denrele a role model?
I don’t know if I have attained the position of a role model yet. But I think I stand for originality. I think I have a voice. I can speak my mind without conforming. I think that can be emulated.

What is the worst thing that has happened to you for being who you are?
I think it is the scandals. And I can handle scandals well but people have fabricated so much about me. They say I have a child somewhere that I have abandoned. They say I am bleaching my skin – that is even the one they are using to chase me up and down. If only people can see me when I wake up in the morning, then they will know whether I am bleaching on not.

Would you like to clear the air on that?
Of recent, I discovered my love for powder. I normally like to wear the one that is lighter than me, so anytime I use this powder and my face becomes fairer, people will begin to say I am bleaching. Someone recently said to me on Twitter: ‘Denrele has bleached his destiny away’. Another said, ‘Denrele is looking like Michael Jackson in his time of death’. Somebody said, ‘Denrele looks like the remains of a ghastly car crash’. This is the one that will trip you. The person said, ‘Denrele looks like the spirit behind this recent fuel scarcity’. I thought that was a classic one. I have received a lot from people, especially during the period I went through the Charly Boy/Denrele saga. They said I kissed Charly Boy and I was trying to cause problems in his matrimonial home. Nigerians took it upon themselves to judge the freaking daylight out of me. They tried to pull me down at any opportunity they could get. But for where? Nothing can put me down.

Even when you were asked to respond, you did not come out straight. You were still trying to keep the suspense.
You know when you are caught up in the middle of a situation, you sometimes give up. I felt that any explanation I will ever give will fall on deaf ears. Because the moment that picture hit public domain, everybody came to one conclusion: these two are dating. And whether or not it was a photoshop feat, a publicity stunt, a controversial agenda or the real deal, everyone decided to believe what they wanted to believe. How many people do I want to convince? I just said to myself that I do not owe anybody any explanations. So, let them say whatever they want to say. You know this is a free world. Everybody has poetic licence. But I know in my heart of heart what happened. I just decided to retain some suspense and intrigues around it.

What really happened?
You want to really know what happened? Hmn. Heat don dey catch me for here. It’s a long story. But we will save it for another day.

Why wouldn’t you tell me now?

Tell me the truth. What happened between you and Charly Boy?
The truth is it was not real. If it was real, there should have been something behind it. But Charly Boy is somebody I respect in the industry for his relevance and consistency. To answer your question, there is nothing going on between me and Charly Boy. He is my area father. But then the media blew it out of proportion. I think it was a phase I had to go through.

I hear you can’t drive.
I do not drive. I am 31, but I can’t. I have a driver. That’s why I do not want to do any sporty car. They are just for two people and I need a roomy (big) car. If I do Porsche or Ferrari, the space wouldn’t be enough. It will really look funny.

Why can’t you drive?
I am always on the phone, and I am always changing. If I am rushing for an event and there is no one to drive, it’s certain I will get there late or not properly dressed. I have never learnt how to drive. I have always had drivers.

LADIES; What your man really means when he says these 10 ‘nice’ things

1. “Let’s Not Use Labels.”

If I cheat on you and you’re my girlfriend, I’m a jerk. But if you’re just someone I’m seeing, am I really such a bad guy? Hard to say. So I prefer to give myself the benefit of the doubt … Oh, sorry, I gotta take this call from my — I mean, this girl I see sometimes.

2. “I Just Can’t Be a Boyfriend Right Now.”

What can I be right now? The guy who’s blowing you off.

3. “Is This About Your Ex?”

This couldn’t possibly be about me, because I’m a nice guy! So, yeah, it’s probably your fault.

4. “We’re Just Going Through a Rough Patch.”

Sure, the rough patch is probably my fault, but I’d really rather not be single right now. Don’t dump me. Please!

5. “I Don’t Deserve You.”

You’re so much better than me that I have to break up with you. See what I did there? I’m such a sensitive feminist that I just dumped myself because I didn’t think you’d do it.

6. “I Don’t Want to Hold You Back.”

I don’t want to hold you at all. In fact, you’re holding me back. From being happy. God, I’d sound like such a jerk if I said that aloud. Which is why I didn’t.

7. “I Really Need to Focus on My Career.”

I’m not happy, and I know I’ll grow to loathe you if this goes on any longer. So I’d rather cut it off before it gets ugly. But I can’t say that, so I’m inventing this BS about my career.

8. “I’ve Just Got a Lot of Issues to Deal With.”

Maybe I’ll deal with a few of them before I die, but mostly, I’m just going to repress them. After all, they’re convenient. When I’m feeling like a bad guy, my issues are the ultimate excuse. It’s not me; it’s them.

9. “Let’s Not Get Emotional.”

Whoa. Why are you so furious? Let’s discuss this in a calm, rational manner, like I never did anything wrong. In fact, that’s exactly how I’m going to act right now. In fact, why don’t we both act that way? Then it will be just like I never fucked up.

10. “I Feel Like There’s Something You’re Not Saying. Go Ahead, Say It. Let Me Have It.”

Please tell me you want to break up with me. If I dump you, I’ll feel like a jerk. I’d much rather make you miserable and then manipulate you into breaking up with me.

Late Singer Kefee's body to arrive Nigeria soon As Uduaghan settles her hospital bill

A few days ago, the Nigerian community in Las Vegas, United States issued a statement appealing for the release of the body of the late singer Kefee, who died on June 13 from lung failure after 15 days in a coma at Desert Spring Hospital, Las Vegas.

A statement signed by its president, Festus Ebonka read, “We appeal to Nigerians to help take her remains back home. Lots of protocols here and there to follow. It’s not a simple process. Her husband is devastated and not ready to speak yet.”

Apparently responding to the plea, the Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan has foot the bills the late singer accumulated during her stay in the hospital and every other bill needed for the return of her corpse to Nigeria.

Meanwhile Kefee’s husband, Don-Momoh in a release signed by his publicist, Chilee Agunanna, has said he would have to return home to Nigeria first and be on ground to receive the body of his wife.

Teddy said that Kefee’s family had requested that she be buried in her hometown, Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East Local Government, Delta State with a celebratory service in Sapele afterwards.

Those, according to him, are the only definite arrangements for his late wife’s burial so far.

I Will Never Contest Election Again – Peter Obi

Mr. Peter Obi, the immediate past governor of Anambra State says he is standing by his decision never to run for an elective office again in Nigeria, rubishing rumours he plans running for Senate come 2015.

The soft-spoken man, who spoke with reporters at Ochuche in Ogbaru local government area of the state where he joined his former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Mr. Dubem Obaze at the weekend as he received a chieftaincy title from all traditional rulers in Anambra North senatorial zone, said his decision remains, but however said he is prepared to serve Nigeria in any capacity.

Obi’s arrival at the venue of the ceremony was greeted with jubilation by the audience.

“I started telling people during my second tenure in office as governor that I will not aspire for any elective position in the country, but some people thought I was joking,” Obi said.

“Some have even been speculating that I will be contesting for senate for Anambra Central in 2015 or for another elective position at the national level and I want to say here that I have no such ambition.

“However, I am prepared to make myself available for the service of my country in non-elective position.

“I believe that after serving as governor for eight years, I should allow other people go for political offices meant for the state. There is therefore no truth in the rumour that I want to contest for senate next year.”

Obi however said he would remain in All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, no matter the nature of assignment he is carrying out for the nation, adding that deliberate efforts would continue to ensure that the party becomes stronger in the country.
