Bank Driver Arrested With 19 ATM Cards, N652,000.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Dare Oladujoye, a driver with Zenith Bank, for allegedly being in possession of 19 Guaranty Trust Bank ATM cards and the sum of N652, 000.

It was learnt that the suspect was using the cards to withdraw money from an ATM at Ogba branch of GTB when a security guard raised the alarm.

The Commissioner of Police for the state police command, Mr. Umar Manko, said as of the time of his arrest, the suspect had withdrawn N652, 000 from the ATM.

Manko said, “On July 26, 2012, around 8:30pm, there was a distress call that there was commotion at GTB, Ogba branch. On getting there, the suspect was seen with 19 ATM cards.

“He is an employee of Zenith Bank and we wondered what he was doing with the 19 cards. He was arrested and as of the time of his arrest, he had cashed N652, 000. The matter is under investigation.”

The suspect however denied stealing the ATM cards. He said whenever he lent people money, he would collect their ATM cards as collateral and return them after payment.

He said, “I usually loan people money and I’ve been doing it for over a year. Whenever I loan people money, I will collect their ATM cards and their Personal Identification Numbers. When they repay me, I return their cards to them.

“However, if they don’t pay me back in cash, I go to withdraw money from their accounts through the ATM.”

When quizzed on where he got the money which he lent people, he said he was into various kinds of businesses.

He also said he had friends in the banking sector who helped him with funds.

He said, “I am a very hard working person. I joined Zenith Bank as a driver over three years ago and in less than a year, I bought a tricycle which I leased to another driver that gives me returns on a regular basis.

“The following year, I bought two tricycles bringing the total number to three. I make N150,000 monthly from the tricycles and N60,000 from my salary. I also get credit facilities through my connections in the banking sector.

“On the day I was arrested, I went to withdraw money on Thursday night with some of the cards when a security guard raised the alarm. I did not steal those cards. I know the owners of the cards and I have their numbers on my phone.”

Meanwhile, the command has warned members of the public to be very careful when buying vehicles so as not to buy stolen ones.

The warning became imperative following the arrest of two mechanics who allegedly received six stolen vehicles and even sold some to members of the public.

Manko said buyers could sense stolen vehicles by their cheap prices.

It was learnt that on July 7, 2012, Sunday Okoduwa came with a report that his car was stolen on Victoria Island.

Policemen later traced the car to a workshop in Agidingbi and arrested a man identified simply as Abdusalam, who in turn claimed that he bought it from one Idowu Adegboyega.

It was learnt that when Adegboyega was arrested and could not give a satisfactory explanation, his house was searched and some documents were found which led to the recovery of six other vehicles.

A police source said, “When we searched the suspect’s house, some documents were recovered which led to the recovery of six other vehicles.

“All the vehicles were registered in the name of one Oti Olusekola Jacob, who is believed to belong to the gang of armed robbers in Lagos.”

In a related development, the police have arrested 12 armed robbery suspects.

Police authorities said the suspects belonged to a syndicate that specialised in snatching vehicles from the owners at gunpoint.

The police alleged that the suspects operated in Ikorodu where they robbed and also sold vehicles.

According to the police, Ahmed Abdullahi, Azeez Abiodun, Olusoga Taiwo, Wasiu Azeez and Dele Balogun are among the suspects arrested.

It was learnt that three of the suspects, Adebiyi Mafimisesin, Lekan Aibinuomo and Okalawon Akinpelu; were receivers of stolen vehicles, which were either Toyota or Honda products.

A police source said, “The case emanated from Ikorodu Police Station and was reported on June 20, 2012 by a complainant who was attacked and robbed of his Toyota Sienna Space bus.

“We swung into action and we discovered where they keep stolen vehicles and sell to buyers. We recovered six vehicles; Toyota Sienna, Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and two others.

“We also recovered single-barrelled locally-made shotguns and 24 live cartridges and one expended cartridge.”

Two Muslim Clerics Arrested in Lagos over N10m Fraud.

Police detectives attached to the Lagos Special Fraud Unit (SFU) have arrested two ‘Muslim clerics’ for allegedly defrauding local and foreign businessmen of N10 million.

The suspects Fatai Bamidele and Lateef Ahmed, allegedly paraded themselves as Muslim clerics to defraud innocent members of the public of their money.

They were said to have allegedly operated a shrine in Ilorin in Kwara State and they took victims to the shrine where they were made to take an oath not to reveal what had happened to them to others.

Parading the suspects before newsmen in Lagos yesterday, Commissioner of Police in charge of SFU, Mr. Tunde Ogunsakin, said the fraudsters were arrested based on a petition by some victims about their criminal activities.

The petitioner, according to him, alleged that sometime in October 2011, one Lawal Suleiman collected his goods (fireworks) valued at N13, 320, 750.00 with the promise to pay as soon as the goods were delivered. The goods were delivered successfully but the suspect refused to pay, he said.

He said Fatai Bamidele, 34 years old from Kwara, claimed to be a Muslim cleric who normally assists Lawal Suleiman in his spiritual life. “Lawal Suleiman came to him to seek special assistance concerning the bad dream he had and also that he needed more power and more money”, he added.

The request for more money, according to him, prompted him to introduce him to one Alhaji Lateef Ahmed in Ilorin who happened to be his master and superior.

“So he informed Lawal that they have two types of money rituals: there is the one brought by ghost and the other type from daily contribution,” he added.

He said Lawal opted for daily contribution and at the end of it all about N10 million was allegedly obtained from him so far before the police swooped on them.

The commissioner said it was discovered during investigation that of the N10 million Lateef gave his colleague in crime, Bamidele, N2.5 million while he took the remaining N7.5 million.

I Dislike Guys After Sleeping With Them

Hello NAIJA GOSSIP,I appreciate your providing an opportunity for us to anonymously tell the world what we cant tell our friends. Please I need an honest solution. The first issue is I don’t know how to love, I am perfect at pretending so most times my partner never finds out. Secondly, I have always been scared of marriage and being someone who thinks deeply, I realize after having sex with a particular guy for a while I begin to dislike him and I get bored with the relationship even when such guy loves me with his life. It is an unconscious thing on my part and has led me to thinking that if I get married I will begin to hate or get bored with my spouse after a while. I am in my late 20s and a graduate and please I really love sex but I don’t know why I behave like this and as a result I have broken off many relationship. Unfortunately I am a type of lady that always has guys flocking around her and also good on bed that even when I try to make the guy not have sex with him as to avoid hating him, he will pester me or rape. Help please!

I'm Amaka, I met my husband 8 years ago at age 22, he was 46yrs old then. Though he was married, his first wife left him in 2002 after 14yrs of marriage without any issue.
I got married and packed into his duplex located at Ajah. After our marriage, I got pregnant and had twins (2boys). My husband was very happy. 3 years later, I had another set of twin boys.He could not contain his excitement, he told me,"IFEYINWA TNK U FOR SHOWING D WORLD THAT I AM A MAN, I WIL LUV U TILL I DIE" and I replied, "I WIL LUV U TOO TIL DEATH DO US PART'.
He later opened a big supermarket for me at lekki. I was devoted and dedicated to my home, we were living in peace until 2 years ago when CHIOMA the first wife came back, I welcomed her and even asked my husband to forgive her. Within 6months our peaceful house turned to something else. CHIOMA's behaviour changed towards me, she started calling me a prostitute, husband snatcher and other unprintable names.
That same month our husband FRANK became sick and his blood pressure became high. CHIOMA started making life unbearable for me, she insisted the house was FRANK and hers. He told my husband to rent another house for us but he refused.
In 2011, FRANK lost all he had coshis business partner ran away with all his money, I took over the expenses in the house, he was grateful and he told me, 'IFEYINWA DO U KNOW YOU ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER WOMEN, DESPITE MY FINANCIAL STATUS AND AGE GAP U STIL STOOD BY ME. I WILL ALWAYS LUV U" and I told him I would love him for better for worse.
But Chioma wouldn't care. She was never happy with me and my children, she said the house was built when she was living with him then dat i should go with my bastard children. I am 30yrs now,she is 47 while Frank is 54yrs. I gave Frank N3million to start another business and told him of my plans to rent a house so peace would reign but he refused, he started crying like baby. The next day his BP raised to 320. Everything got so bad, Chioma would threaten to stab me at any slightest provocation. We do the same business but she's not happy about my progress cos I'm miles ahead of her. She has never for one day bought anything in the house,
I've been footing the bills.
I went to meet my Pastor and he advised me to quit the marriage because Frank belongs to Chioma.
My Question is...
What will happen to Frank, my 4boys and i? How will i break dis news to him? I love him so much but what about his condition? Chioma hates my children and she wants Frank to sell the duplex.
Pls advise me, what is my fate? What do I do...PLZ GREAT ADVICE=

Nigerian Politicians Kill Dreams -Richard Branson(C.E.O Virgin Atlantic)

The rich international businessman, Richard Branson, has lambasted the crop of leaders we have in Nigeria for their high level greed which, according to him, is killing big brands wishing to do business with the government of the country, for the growth of Nigeria’s economy.

Below is the revelations by Mr. Richard Branson on his experience in Nigeria…

The chairman of Virgin Atlantic said: “…we have virgin’s ill-fated footsteps by setting up a new airline in Africa in conjunction with Nigerian government…the details of the doomed attempts to crack the Nigerian market in the 2000s is better imagined…we put …together a very good airline-the first airline in West Africa that was ever IOSA/IATA operational safety audit accredited but unfortunately it got tied down to the politics of the country…we led the airlines for 11 years…

“We fought daily battle against government agents who wanted to daily make fortune from us, politicians who saw the government 49% as a meal to seek for all kinds of favour…watchdogs (regulatory body) that didn’t know what to do and persistently asking for bribes at any point…Nigeria people are generally nice but the politicians are very insane…that may be irony because the people make up the politicians…

“But those politicians are selfish…we did make N3billion for the federal government of Nigeria during the joint venture…realising that the government didn’t bring nothing to the table/partnership except dubious debts by the previous carrier, Nigeria Airways…The joint venture should have been the biggest African carrier by now if the partnership was allowed to grow, but the politicians KILLED it…Nigeria is a country we SHALL NEVER consider to doing business again..”

13 Passengers die in a motor accident on Benin-Ore road

No fewer than 13 passengers died in a motor accident on the Benin-Ore road, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) confirmed on Sunday.

In a statement issued by Mr Bisi Kazeem, Deputy Corps Public Education Officer, the commission stated that the accident happened at kilometre 53, before Ohosun town, zone 5.12 toll gate unit command in Edo State at 7.45 a.m on Sunday.

Kazeem said the accident, which involved two vehicles, was caused by the driver of the Anambra Mass Transit Toyota Hiace bus, with registration number YB 610 EPE (Lagos), who for no reason drove against traffic on the Benin-Ore lane.

The driver faced an oncoming Iveco truck descending a slope, resulting in head-on collision.

The bus was coming from Lagos carrying traders dealing in electronics and 13 out of the passengers in the bus died, while three people survived including the truck driver.

The victims, according to FRSC, have been taken to Shiloh Hospital, Ugbogui in Edo for treatment while corpses were deposited at the mortuary of the same hospital.

The Commission said the obstruction caused as a result of the accident had been promptly cleared.

Few minutes ago, Team Nigeria’s basketball team at the 2012 London Game Olympics, D’Tigers made history as the first Nigerian basketball team to win a match at the on-going games.

What makes it better is that they did so in their first ever match!

D’Tigers won their first match in Group A by beating their Tunisian counterparts in 60-56 in what was described as a very competitive game played at the Olympic stadium.

By winning this match, D’Tigers need only one more game to win for them to scale through to the next round.

Before the game, Sani Ahmed, coach of the team, said even though the Tunisians beat Nigeria on their way to winning the Afrobasket and picking the sole African slot in Madagascar, ‘today’s encounter will be different’ as the boys want to make history and prove that their qualification was no fluke.

wOw!!!! what a good start, innit ?????

I Am Pregnant For My Step-Son

My name is Mrs Olajumoke Davis, I’m 35 years old and I’ve been married for the past 17 years.
For 17 years I’ve been praying for the fruit of the womb.
I and my husband have been to different hospitals for medical check up, but all to No avail. The Doctors said we are both fertile (meaning we can Both make babies).
I married my husband at age 18 while I was still a virgin.
My husband(Joshua) has always been there for me in everything, understanding and supportive in our trying times.
About 2 years ago, my childhood friend advised me on what to do….following her advice I remembered “Bayo” my 22 years old house help. Bayo has been with us since he was 8 years old, we treated him as if he was ours.
I started talking to him about his personal life. Few months later, my husband traveled to his home town to see his people, so I utilized the opportunity!
I locked Bayo in my room and begged him to have sex with me,He refused at first, then I threatened him that I would Send him back to d village….he later agreed, so we had sex 5 times b4 day break!
The next day my husband came back.
13days later, I Became pregnant, unknowing to Bayo that I was pregnant, I gave him 1million naira, told him to take d money and Go back to the village……..the lil chap was Greatfully satisfied!
I eventually told my husband that I was pregnant and he instantly became the most happiest person in the world, he called his mother, updated them about the news and they started buying kid clothing and Toys.
Few months later we did scan and the doctors told us that it was twin.
Glory be to God, I gave birth to taiwo(female) and kehinde(male).
2 days ago, my husband woke me up in d middle of the night, held me close to his arms, looked into my eyes, and asked me “Jumoke, who is the father of our kids”
I was shocked, scared that he must have known some how, I just knew he had known because of d way he asked me, I didn’t know what to say, I was so shy bcus I knew I’ve betrayed his trust, I looked at his eyes and I burst into tears……..
he then told me “jumoke, before u start talking, I have a confession to make” I cleaned my face and sat upright. he went ahead and told me how he had Unprotected sex with a girl in his village and contacted STD before he got married, and how he didn’t treat it for a very long time, that eventually when he went to the hospital, the doctors told him that the std he didn’t treat ontime had made him sterile(can’t impregnate a woman)
He said he treated the STD b4 he got married to me, and he has always known that he was sterile, and that all those test we’ve been doing that he has been paying the doctors to give me a wrong result.
He also added that the woman he had sex with back then got pregnant and the child is BAYO our house help. he also went ahead by saying that he has always wanted to tell me to look for someone to impregnate me but he just didn’t have the balls to do so.
But now that I have done it,he’ll like to know who d father is.

A 28-year-old woman, Miss Joy Akule, who allegedly used a knife to cut her 11-year-old biological son is now in police net for attempted murder charge. Miss Akule said she cut the child for sharing between her and her live-in lover, Mr Thomas Kationa.

Miss Akule had confessed to the police that she attempted to “share” the victim in order to cut off an old relationship with his father.

The woman, a resident of Sabuwar Abuja Quarters in Panshekara, Kumbotso local government area of Kano State, was said to have stabbed the son with a knife in his stomach to the extent of revealing his intestines.

Kano State police commissioner, Alhaji Ibrahim K. Idris, told journalists yesterday that the woman who hails from Katsina-Ala in Benue State had confessed to the alleged crime.

The commissioner said that the victim was later rushed to the hospital for treatment and was recuperating.

Joy Akule later told journalists in a chat that she attempted slashing the victim into two because of the pervasive misunderstanding between her and her live-in lover in order to bring to an end their relationship. “We have been having misunderstanding and I want the relationship to come to an end,” she said.

The woman, in a hush-laden voice, told journalists, “I wanted to cut the relationship, so, I attempted to cut this boy so that his father can take his share and I take my share.” The commissioner had also spoken on the arrest of a fake police corporal Shehu Garba, who claimed to be serving at Birnin Kebbi and was on a sick leave but engaged in defrauding people in Kano.

E-X-P-O-S-E-D:Messy Love Life Of Stephanie Henshaw, Okotie’s Embattled Wife

Stephanie Adie Henshaw
According what Encomium magazine reported; unknown to many, expect close friends, Stephanie Adie Henshaw has never been married before Reverend Christopher Okotie in the true sense of the word.

The mother of three children from two men has rather been a victim of abuse and ill-luck with a chequered history of marital woes that ended up breaking into pieces her fragile heart.

Stephanie’s first love before Okotie came into the picture was a young man she met through a friend in Lagos. With no intention of marriage, being quite young then, the innocent Calabar girl, unfortunately got pregnant for the man.

She was still carrying his baby when he was shot to death in Surulere, Lagos. The tragic death of Stephanie’s hat would happen to her years after.

“The pain they inflicted on Stephanie after the death of the father of her fisrt child was unbearable. One day, she was invited by the man’s people to know how the child was faring. And before she knew what was happening, they took custody of the child. She never set eyes on the boy until two, three years ago,” a highly reliable source told ENCOMIUM Weekly.

We further learnt that Stepahnie’s son was taken to England where he schooled before returning to the country. He has since reunited with his mom.

Stephanie Henshaw’s affair with one businessman, Mazi Okechukwu (Okey) was totally built on deceit which was not initially to the knowledge of the ravishingly beautiful lady.

”Stephanie didn’t know that Okey was a fraud. Okey told her he was not married. He was building a house back then in Omole Estate. Okey had rent a house for Stephanie in Ikeja, Lagos. And each time he sneaked out to see his first wife and children, he would say he had gone to see his mother. The day she found out the truth, she literally fainted,"our source revealed.

It was in-between this affair that produced two sons that Rev.Okotie, who had been admiring Stephanie from a distance started walking into her life.

ENCOMIUM Weekly learnt she was naturally pissed off with the Igbo businessman and literally needed a man she could call hers. From what we were told, Okotie staked his reputation, and risked his life to have Stephanie.

“He really loved Stephanie. There was
nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Okotie had cause to jump a fence for the sake of this love. Of course, you already know, he was attacked physically on several occasions all for Stephanie.

"It was this same Okey that smashed Okotie’s windscreen and all that. He, however, had to give up when it was obvious that Stephanie was no longer interested in the relationship. After all, there was no marriage to be dissolved,
since there was none in the first place"

A born again Christian for almost 20 years, we were informed that Stephanie has always known God despite her marital woes.

Our source who had known Stephanie for many years warned those castigating her to maintain their cool. She even threatened to open up on many more issues relating to her four year marriage to Rev. Okotie if pushed to the wall.

Before now, the impression engraved in people’s consciousness was that Stephanie was a widow and divorcee. an allegation her close friends and family members are now making serious effort to debunk.

Relatedly, more facts are beginning to emerge, throwing more light on the remote and immediate circumstances that contributed to the crash of her marriage to Household of God’s Chris Okotie on Sunday, June 24,2012.

Information at our disposal has it that Stephanie was not going to church as often as she was supposed to as pastor ‘s wife. She had also been accused of being stubborn, while another wicked allegation they fired at her had to do with bi-sexualism.

Rev. Chris Okotie’s image maker, Mr. Ladi Ayodeji, in his response to ENCOMIUM Weekly’s inquiries on the issue that same day said they have no comment on any issue related to Okotie/Stephanie marriage break-up.

“We have nothing to say on this issue. Please go ahead and write whatever that pleases you.”

Meanwhile, Rev. Okotie is yet to say anything about why his marriage to Stephanie surprisingly crashed. He said nothing on the issue at the Wednesday (July 11, 2012), Household of God’s midweek service.

That was also the situation on Sunday, July 15, 202. The charismatic preacher, who adorned a black trouser, white shirt and checked coat concentrated on the message of the day which centered on God’s power of delivery.

And as has been the situation since he separated from his wife, the church was also filled to capacity. Before the church dismissed around 1.30, members born in July were not able to present a drama, No Gossip in the House, which they had earlier announced that Sunday service.

July 22, 2012 marks the fifth Sunday Okotie’s marriage of four years to Efik, Cross River born Stephanie Adie Henshaw crashed. Nothing officially has come from the couple as regards their marital crisis.

Reverend Okotie has maintained calculated silence on the matter since his announcement on June 24. while Stephanie only made references to her marital travails in a recent Facebook update.

PATHETIC:Mystery Fire Disfigures Woman 11 Days Before Wedding

If Charity Okoroukwu, a 27-year-old woman, who graduated in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu, had known that danger was lurking around the corner 11 days to her wedding, she would not have attempted to refuel a kerosene lantern on December 17, 2011.

On that fateful day, she was refuelling the lantern when it caught fire, exploded and left her with third degree burns. But till date, a yet unsolved riddle still bothers her about the incident. The fire, which disrupted her life, did not affect the keg containing the kerosene. At the time, the native of Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State was awaiting mobilisation for the mandatory national youths service scheme. Now, she needs more than N2 million for a plastic surgery.

Charity, fondly addressed as ‘Chacha’ by her friends at the IMT, told Daily Sun: “When I was in the IMT where I graduated on December 6, 2011, I was popularly known as Chacha. Few days later, I left Enugu for our village in Anambra State to prepare for my wedding that was to hold on December 28. On December 17, which was exactly 11 days to my wedding ceremony, I wanted to put kerosene in one of our lanterns and it exploded. So, the fire burnt my body without mercy.

“People that were around poured water on me and I was rushed to a nearby hospital. I was later transferred to another private hospital in Awka. I spent more than two months there before I was discharged. My bill at the hospital was well above N500, 000. In spite of the treatment and the money involved, I was not okay as at the time I was discharged,” she said. Charity, who noted that she was five months pregnant when the fire burnt her, stated that the wedding was held in the hospital. Her husband, according to her, insisted that the wedding must be held to shame the devil. She continued: “After that, my husband, who has been residing in Lagos, asked me to come. When I got to Lagos, we went to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ebutte Meta. At the FMC, I registered for ante natal. Shortly thereafter, we were referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

“I was admitted when I got to LUTH and I was subjected to series of tests. In the hospital, I had my baby through caesarean section because of my condition. We named the boy Victor Chidera. Victor means victory and Chidera means what God has written. I gave him the name because of my condition and the circumstances, surrounding his birth.”Charity appealed to kind-hearted Nigerians, philanthropists and corporate organisations to assist her so she could undergo a corrective surgery in Israel.

“Please, help me because I don’t like my present condition. Now, I cannot stay wherever is hot. I must stay indoors in the afternoon because of the sun. Please, help me. I pray that neither you nor your children will have this kind of experience. The explosion has spoilt my beauty.” Charity’s mother, Mrs. Grace Nnamezie, described the incident as an attack masterminded by evil forces. “How could the fire burn my daughter and didn’t touch the keg, containing the kerosene?” she wondered.

A private medical practitioner, Olakunle Adigun, said the surgery could be done at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). He said, however, that it would be in three stages: face, arms and abdomen. The first stage, he said, would gulp about N400, 000, while the second stage would cost about N650, 000.

“The cost for the third stage has not been given but the first two stages will cost above N1 million apart from other miscellaneous expenses. If all other expenses and the third stage are factored into the surgery, the total cost will be more than N2 million,” he stated. Adigun expressed hope that Charity would be better off after the surgery.

While Charity can be contacted on the mobile numbers 08032229181 and 08033037223, a bank account number 0005774736 has been opened in her name, Charity Nnamezie, at the Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos branch of the GT Bank.

Once Jannette was in her Hawaiian dress in readiness for the Party, she shot for her usual target Keagan with her sexy advances.

Keagan was perplexed at Jannette's sudden burst into character; posing as Miss July on a Cape Town calendar showing a bit of neck, squinting her eyes. "Would you want to bang this or say what's up to this?"

He tried brushing small princess off but she wouldn't take that and she quickly changed her pose and gave him another offer. "What if I'd pose like Kim Kardashian and show some leg and I'm Miss September Cape Town because you were born in September?" she pestered.

Keagan simply opted to say a short prayer; "rid me of all my morals and values and I'd want to hit that."
Well, Keagan was lucky enough to be saved by the bell - Biggie's voice!
