Police sacks Zakari Biu Over Escape of Kabiru Sokoto.

The Police Service Commission have dismissed Zakari Biu over his involvement in the 'escape' of the alleged Christmas day bomber at a church in Mandalla, Niger state.
Zakari Biu was the Officer briefed to take charge of the detention and investigation of then arrested Boko Haram's member, Kabiru Sokoto and a Commissioner of Police, in-charge of zone 7 of the Nigeria Police, in Abuja.

The Zakari Biu claimed that Kabiru Sokoto escaped on their way to meet a traditional ruler at his palace after returning from Abaji in connection with their investigation and where the Boko Haram bomber claimed to own a house.

Zakari Biu was dismissed from the Nigerian police about 10 years ago over his activities as a key member of the Abacha regime's hit squad. The sacked IG of police, Hafiz Ringim reinstated him back a year ago as a Deputy Commissioner.

He was a trained anti-terror police and have up-to-date information on how Boko haram sect is been tackled by the security services.
MR Biu been on the loose will a very dangerous development to Nigerian security, therefore if he was found guilty as the Police Service Commission's report stated, he must be prosecuted in any competent court without further delay.
