"Ojukwu Fought for 13% Derivation" - Dr Peter Odili.

"He was a man of justices", these were the words of former governor of Rivers state, Dr Peter Odili at a special memorial lecture in honour of the former Biafran leader in Port Harcourt.

It was "Ojukwu that boldly canvassed for 13% derivation at the National Constitutional Conference of 1994, convened by late General Sani Abacha. He has written his name down as one who stood with the Niger Delta in her struggle for a better deal for the region."

Dr Odilli said that he "first had a hand shake with the late Ojukwu when he was Senior Prefect and Captain at Kings College, Lagos. The opportunity came again when we both served in the 1994 constitutional conference".

This is the Ikemba, that History writers refused to give us the true picture of him. We thank God, that those that witnessed History are now talking.

Rest In Peace, the Man of Justices!
