Benue Govt Owes 150 Teachers 4-Years Salaries.

With Billions of Naira collected from Federal allocation monthly and Billions squandered by successive governors of Benue state as security 'vote', 150 of their teachers are owed four year salaries.
These primary school teachers were recruited by the Universal Basic Education Board in 2008.

The Verification Exercise in 2008 which recommended that the teachers should be sacked, but as the recommendation was not accepted by the government or put into action, it implies that the teachers should continue to work and be seen/treated as employees of Benue state government and deserved their monthly pay.

No reason will be enough to justify these gross abuse and injustices to the effected teachers and the hardship been faced by their families.

We are appealing to the government of Benue state to pay these teachers without further delay, their salaries, accruing interest and the cost of depriving them a meaningful livelihood for four years.

Nigerians Cannot continue living under these harsh condition inflicted to them by those they charged with governance. It is a Shame!
